Book AppointmentWhat To Expect
We recommend booking annual eye exams, but you should have an eye exam at least every 2 years.
Eye exams are an important part of your healthcare. Regular eye exams ensure your prescription is updated and accurate, can help detect early signs of eye disease and other health conditions, and protect your vision throughout your life.
Before Your Appointment
Once you’ve booked your appointment, we ask that you make sure your patient forms are filled out. This will save you time when you come in for your eye exam.
New patients can complete their forms here.
Existing patients can update their information here (text us for a code).
On the day of your appointment, make sure you bring:
- Government-issued photo ID
- Any medical insurance card(s)
- Current glasses &/or contact lenses
- Face mask
During Your Appointment
During your eye exam, we’ll review your medical history, questions, concerns, and daily habits with you to better understand your eye care needs.
We’ll assess your visual acuity, corneal curvature, binocular and peripheral vision, and check for signs of disease or damage on the outside or inside of your eyes. Your eye exam will test for:
- Myopia (nearsightedness)
- Hyperopia (farsightedness)
- Astigmatism
- Presbyopia
- Signs of eye disease
We’ll update your prescription, explain our findings, and make personalized recommendations on your next steps.
After Your Appointment
Once you have an action plan, whether it’s new glasses or booking a dry eye consultation, we’ll help you check out.
If you have any questions about insurance coverage, please don’t hesitate to ask us.
